My name is Heather, I am the proud ma ma to 3 amazing kids. They are the light of my life along with my husband Jon. We decided we wanted a natural childbirth before we got pregnant. To us, having a healthy baby was more important than anything. To me natural childbirth is common sense. Having a happy and healthy baby is the most important outcome of any birth, but for me, being able to have control of my body, having trust in my body to do what it already knows how to do, was the most rewarding experience I have ever encountered. Getting an epidural or any medication for that matter was never an option for me. I went into the process with an open mind, knowing that I could do it. I personally think that is the whole battle. Using your inner strength and your inner spirit, you can accomplish anything you want.

I'm a mom to two girls, Madeline and Grace. I live in Powder Springs with my husband Chad and a houseful of pets. My interest in birth first began when I was pregnant with Maddie, who was born in June of 2004. I started my pregnancy with the assumption that I would have a traditional birth with an epidural, but the more I learned the more that didn't feel right for me.
