I'm a 31 yr old male and thankfully circumcised. If I had a stinky anteater creepy penis, I would have been angry at my parents for not doing this procedure.

BTW, for all you drama queen females out there - I don't remember a thing. Yes, the google video is horrific, but guess what? It's not typical. One dramatic internet video out of the multi-millions of guys out there who are circumcised is not indicative of your future child's experience. Is it barbaric? No more than killing animals for food. Life is tough.

I bet you all are happy when you go to give oral to your hubby. Clean circumcised penis is wonderful, eh?

The internet is ruining moms one click at a time. Modern times are scary.

It's not just the US, some UK parents circumcise

I couldn't agree more with the OP. I'm circumcised and from the UK. My parents made the decision for me, getting it over and done with at birth. I am so glad they did.

Being circumcised is healthier and cleaner. I wouldn't want a foreskin in a million years.

Would I recommend it? Even though it is pretty rare in the UK these days I would have no hesitation in recommending circumcision to any parents that are considering it. Also getting it done at birth is the best option as they won't remember it and will grow up considering circumcision as being normal.

You make American Men sound like such WHIMPS

In Turkey they circumcise boys who are 4-8 years old... and in Indonesia... they circumcise boys who are 12... and in South Africa they circumcise boys who are 18... but only in America- where we allegedly LOVE circumcision so much- do whimps like you expect their Mommy to take care of this for them when they are a day old! You know what dude?- If circumcision was so damn great- man up and get yourself cut- stop acting like a little newborn BABY is better able to handle it that you can. If it's such a blessing- well why aren't you willing to suffer a little for it so it actually MEANS something? You think a boob job doesn't hurt? I don't see anyone playing violins for all the pain women who elected to get bigger boobs have suffered. If baby's were so well equipped to be brutalized- we'd say "Awww comon dude, take it like a BABY!" ... but we don't... we say, "Take it like a MAN." so how about it whimp?... Grow some nuts and own your own weird fetish! It you want to cut pieces of your wiener- do it yourself and stop expecting other people to guess what you want. By promoting your own WHIMP excuse that just because YOU can't handle the pain as an adult- that other men should be deprived of their *whole* sex organ- you are projecting your own insecurities on a whole lot of men who would have really liked their whole body and wouldn't have had any hangups about it. You want it- you do it... it's simple- stop whining.

against circumcision

My b/f ended up having a tight circumcision that caused scarring all over his penis and his never been happy with what had happen to him. I felt bad for him because surgery wasn't necessary and it caused more problems for him then if he'd never had the surgery in the first place. When my son was born I decided that it was best to leave him with a whole penis & his a happy healthy baby boy. My b/f is glad his son wasn't cut either.

I wish I was not circumcised

I am a 52 year old male that was circumcised at birth. Unlike Whatever, who is a 31 year old that is happy with his circumcision, I am not happy with being circumcised.

As I got older, sex got more difficult. It was taking me longer to get off and it was a lot more work. My wife said I took too long and she did not enjoy it. As a circumcised man, I was never able to get off from a blow job. After doing some research I discovered that, without the protection of a foreskin, my glans and inner foreskin remnant had toughened up over the years and I had lost a lot of sensitivity.

I am restoring my foreskin and the difference is amazing. My wife really loves my foreskin. And so do I. I have regained my sensitivity and the gliding sensation of the foreskin is fantastic.

Having experienced being both circumcised and having a foreskin, even one that is restored, reinforces my belief that male infant circumcision is a barbaric act and needs to stop. His Body, His Choice.

Why are you glad ?

You have no idea what you're missing and don't know how it feels to be normal. Most circumcised men are in denial, they need to believe circumcision is an enhancement. Yes it may be painful to realize circumcision is a useless procedure and you are missing 20,000 nerve endings. But your ignorance doesn't negate the fact circumcision is a violent form of sexual abuse that decreases sensitivity.
