Crafty Baby Clutch Ball
This is my second product from Crafty Baby, I was such a fan of the nap pack that I was excited to try another of their products!The Crafty Baby clutch ball is a unique toy for the active toddler in your life. This is a small softly padded ball that is the perfect fit for tiny little hands. The clutch ball measures 7 inches in diameter divided into 4 colorful sections for easy grasping. I love the added enclosed bell as it makes it easier to track my mobile toddler. Another reason I really liked this toy is the simplicity of it. The toys on the market nowadays are either made in China from plastic, and make the most annoying sounds that drive parents crazy. I love that this is promotes motor skills and fun all at the same time.
This is also the age where it’s tough to find the perfect gift. The clutch ball is always a favorite and comes in the cutest patterns.
My 12 month old made the perfect product tester and the clutch ball has become his favorite toy.

The First 8 Days of Being a Mom
How many bowel movements should my newborn have? How often should I breastfeed my baby? Why is my daughter’s stool so black? What will I expect the first 8 days? These questions are probably the most commonly asked questions by every new Mom. The First 8 Days of Being a Mom answers those questions in the most simple, straightforward and blunt way. I loved reviewing this book and have absolutely put this on my list of “must haves” for the new Mom!I like to think of it as “cliff notes” for the newborn. The most unique quality of this book is the lack of it, it’s a “right to the point” workbook that covers those aspects in 65 pages. Laid out in an easy to read and easy to follow outline starting from labor and finishing up with awesome easy to follow steps of changing a diaper, preparing a bottle, bathing your newborn and a very well explained section on breastfeeding. These steps include great photographs that make it very easy to follow.
Inside The First 8 Days of Being a Mom you will also find tips and information about how to take care of yourself, what you may expect to feel and a really helpful section to write some notes about how you are feeling and information you may want to keep or remember about those first precious 8 days.
I loved this book because of the respect given to the different choices. Whether you choose to have a hospital birth, a natural birth or a homebirth, you will find the information you need for the choice you have made. The same choices and respect are given for bottle vs breastfeeding. The last part of the book offers wonderful websites to continue on your research and education of expecting your new little arrival!
This book is a translated version of a Dutch original. In the Netherlands, a woman has the option to have a nurse visit the mother and answer the questions of a new Mom. Gea Meijering also thought this would be helpful to Mother’s in the US. I thank her for providing us such a gift.

Crafty Baby Nap Pack
I love unique and useful products for my kids. How many moms have found it a challenge to make napping or rest time fun? That's why I love the Nap Pack from Crafty Baby. This unique product is made from ultra soft fleece which is durable and washable. It's basically a soft blanket with an attached pillow that makes for a great nap time accessory. Eco Bumz cloth diapers are as functional as they are beautiful. The material and workmanship of these diapers is outstanding.

The organic bamboo diaper is not only safer for baby, but is 60% more absorbent than cotton. This diaper really has to be seen to be appreciated. It's amazingly soft and perfect for babies with sensitive skin because of bamboo's purity.
The Eco Bumz are AIO's but offer a pocket for extra stuffing.I loved the sewn in soaker and find that this was all I really needed during the day. I did stuff the diaper at nighttime because my son is a very heavy wetter. The outer layer of the Eco Bumz is what sets it apart from other diapers or covers I've tried. It's soft and effective, never did I have any wicking or leaking.
And right on cue, my son decided to break it in the first time he wore it and it laundered perfectly.

They say "a picture is worth a thousand words"? Then I say, "a package is worth a thousand words". The presention of these adorable products was more than impressive. This included a gift box that was an adorable green cirle pattern, wrapped in a matching bow. Don't you just love NOT having to wrap your gift? ( I'm not one to keep all occasion wrapping paper around my house!)
This led to high expectations of the punkin seed products. I was happy to see that the products matched the quality of the packaging. I received an assortment of personalized gifts. The first item, a bib, was as high quality as I've seen anywhere. You don't really think about being choosy about bibs until that yogurt is sliding down the chin about the land on the last clean shirt you own for your little one. Just try wiping her face with those plastic bibs? Also, this cute little bib could be worn with a matching outfit for those high saliva teething days too. Mine was adorned with a cute baby cow.
The second item was an oversized washcloth even softer than the bib. This was a cheery fushia with an orange trim.( personalized with my daughter's name also.) This could easily be used as a burp cloth. I'm not sure I'd get this wet as cute as it is! But it is so soft, I would recommend this for newborns. I may have to find some towels to match it so that I can display it.
The third item was an adorable burp cloth that would be a shame to soil! It's personalization is accented with colorful embroidered flowers that is cheery and bright. These are all very useful products but could also be heirlooms to present as gifts or for yourself.
My overall impression of the Punkin Seed products are that quality is most important. Some companies that personalize depend on the personalization ONLY to sell the product. What Punkin Seed does is find the highest quality products and then tops it off with adorable personalization.

Baby Lists, What to Do and What to Get to Prepare for Baby

Ok, I have to admit it: When I picked up this book I thought I knew every baby item and gadget and, well, most of the important stuff you need for a new baby. I have three children of my own, so I thought that fact alone qualified me as an expert. Now I have to confess that I couldn't put this book down.
As I read "Baby Lists: What to Do and What to Get to Prepare for Baby," I began to wish that I had bought this book during my first pregnancy as it would have saved a lot of Internet time and money! It's not your typical "list" book my any means, it is actually a great read.
If you like to be prepared for anything, then having a child is something that is worth your time and preparation. This book is the ultimate guide for, as the title reads, what to do and what to get to prepare for baby.
Some of my favorite features of this book include:
- A list of recommended products' Web sites or where to buy them.
- A focus on separating what you NEED from what you may "want."
- An excellent index that makes finding specific needs very fast (a real perk for new moms!).
- Her list of recommended pregnancy books include my favorite book from Dr. Sears

Simply Baby Blankets
Better than your average receiving blanket!
No one has to explain to me the benefits of swaddling. I am a swaddling addict. I think I learned about swaddling from that Dr. Karp guy who explained the 4 "S's" ?

I tried one of the expensive boutque blankets for my second son, and it was really nice. Nothing extraordinary, but nice nonetheless. When he still liked being swaddled at 6 months and beyond, I had to revert to one of my Moby wraps to get around him. That's why I'm glad I received this product for review. Little did they know at Simply Baby Blankets that I am the perfect "swaddle" product tester.
Having stated my expertise above, I give these blankets two thumbs up. These are just "simply blankets" that rock! They are really large, large enough for me to swaddle my 6 month 19 lb baby boy with perfection. (42 x 50 to be exact)I smiled the first time I wrapped him thinking.. "Now THIS is how a baby blanket should work!" And, I can use these as they grow. What gives with all of those tiny recieving blankets you get for your first baby? I guess they're good enough to change a diaper on when you're out in public? Maybe they're a good size to roll up and keep baby's head from rolling around... Simply Baby Blankets has a dozen cute designs to choose from. They also come in flannel or seersucker. Both are great! You can choose a bundle also. What I think I like second best, is the price. This is a boutique quality blanket, without the snooty boutique prices. There is no comparasin, Simply Baby Blankets gets my vote, and will get my business for my future gifting! Thanks!

What distinguishes Bugaboo announcements from the other services is its most unique and adorable designs. After searching for the perfect design for my announcement, I think Bugaboo is clearly the best. The graphics are modern yet timeless. I personally loved the different font choices. It’s very tough to decide what your favorites are because there are so many great choices. If you like the color of one design, but want the layout of another, that’s no problem! Michelle can do that for you!
The customer-service experience was spectacular. Dealing with Michelle at Bugaboo was a pleasure, her communication was speedy and she seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. My order arrived packaged perfectly, and it was very quick! I like the idea of being able to purchase your envelopes ahead of time so you can address them before the baby arrives. I also purchased a keepsake announcement to frame for the nursery.

A Cozy Cocoon is what you might call a baby sock! It’s a small, stretchy sock into which you can tuck your infant. Once tucked inside, baby can still move his or her arms and feet, but the snug qualities of the Cozy Cocoon provide protection and comfort.
If you’ve been intimidated by other swaddling wraps and their complicated folding requirements, you won’t believe how simple the Cozy Cocoon truly is. You won’t have to fumble with straps, snaps or Velcro. The sock description is an apt one because all you have to do is scrunch up the Cozy Cocoon and pull it up toward baby’s neck. My newborn feels so secure and is very calm when I put him in his Cozy Cocoon. He actually does his crying when I take him OUT of his cocoon! Cuddoozle Nursing Pillow
Move over, Boppy -- there's a new pillow in town!
I recieved this product to review right before the birth of my third child. I'm only sorry I didn't find this pillow sooner.
This nifty product is the Cuddoozle, and it combines two things I love: it was made by a fellow mommy and it supports breastfeeding.
As many nursing moms know, the first few months of a newborn's life are spent being attached to Mommy while nursing or bottlefeeding, or just being close to his or her favorite person (as it should be!). This handy pillow makes this feeding-and-bonding period much more comfortable and convienent. A new mom will find many other nursing pillows in the crowded baby-goods marketplace -- and I have tried several! -- but let me tell you why the Cuddoozle is my favorite:
1) The Cuddoozle is made from a "memory foam" material, which means it won't sink or wear down. The Cuddoozle is both firm enough to keep its shape and also soft enough to cradle your precious baby.
2) If leaks or accidents happen, you'll be "covered" by Cuddoozle! Tucked safely under the cute outer fabric, a waterproof cover protects the main pillow -- a cool feature that sets the Cuddoozle apart from other nursing pillows.
3) The Cuddoozle sports a little pocket on its side, perfect for stowing a pacifier or other small objects.
For me, the best part of this pillow is its considerable length, another difference-making feature setting it appart from other nursing pillows. I find that after nursing my son with the comfort of the Cuddoozle, he can roll gently onto his back and fall asleep, thus making an easy transition into his crib. I find that I also use the cuddoozle even when I'm not nursing. For example, it provides excellent arm support while cuddling him.

I have several bamboo garments but have never seen this crib sheet. As with the shampoo, I am now a firm convert! Whether or not you choose bamboo for its safety and naturalness, you should choose it for its undeniable softness. I really do plan on spoiling my baby in softness thanks to Green Baby Gifts!

This product was sent to me directly from the creator. Laura Kronen is a "mompreneur" who created this product to keep maternity pants from sliding down our bellies. I know the frustration of this. My favorite maternity jeans always slid down on me. I would find myself walking around with my hands in the front pockets just to keep the from falling down. I was out of luck if I was carrying my toddler! OOPS! These is a suspender of sorts you hook to your bra and then to your bottoms. I have to say these worked great for me. They were very comfortable, and you couldn't even see them under my clothes. This product gets a four star rating in my book! Belly Ups are definitely worth including in your maternity wardrobe!

Another "have to have" product for the pregnant mommy. There are only a few things I cannot live without, and this is one of them. Just ask my husband. He always hears me yelling from my closet "Honey! Do you know where my Belly Band is?" This is, I think, one of the best inventions for pregnant and nursing Moms of the 21st century. This works for all stages of pregnancy and for nursing and beyond too. Use it in the beginning to cover up and hold up your un-buttoned favorite pants. Use it during late pregnancy to keep your maternity pants up! Also during late pregnancy to make up for those tops that are getting to short. Use it after pregnancy for nursing. What a great use! When you pull up your top to nurse, your post baby "extras" aren't being advertised for the world to see. Then, why not use this product as a double layered top?
You can see why I love this so much and get nervous when it's lost in my laundry basket. I've tried other brands and what I love about this one, is the material, it's just right, it never feels to tight on my pregnant belly, yet strong enough to hold up my pants. The Bebe au Lait Nursing cover is a great product a must-have accessory for the nursing mom. This product was definitely well thought out. Not only was the paisley green fabric absolutely gorgeous, but from the first time I tried it out I knew that it was very user-friendly. This was apparent by the buckle that needs fastened to go around your neck because the ends of the fabric were made to be easily threaded. Then, when I put it on, I didn't realize there was a rigid neckline so that you could see your baby while you're nursing! What an ingenious idea! This even comes with a cotton panel to clean up any drips that may happen during nursing. The Bebe au Lait nursing cover is compact and can travel easily.

The Bebe Belay arrived in adorable packaging that would fit nicely in any top of the line boutique. Presentation was superb!
There are several uses for this accessory, I used mine three times in that one trip. I used it to hold on to my son's pacifier in the car seat.
Several of the paci holders I've used were either too heavy and pulled his paci out, or they didn't attach easily and he pulled it out. This is
neither of the two, it's perfect weight is great for this use. I met my aunt for lunch and wanted to use it as a bib holder. I pulled out my Bebe Belay and attached the cloth napkin to it and then to my son and it worked out perfect. This actually works better for a bib because it's very largeand caught all the food and teething biscuit crumbs. And the best part was, I didn't have to take it home and wash it. A bib on the GO! What a great idea!
And then I traveled to Target and used the Bebe Belay to attach my son's teething toy to his cart cover. This was very convenient because I didn't spend the shopping trip playing "pick up my toy" over and over.
Like I said, this is the neat little gadget that you never realized how much you need it. This is also unique because it is safe. If two or more pounds of pressure is applied.

Mustella baby wipes are a staple of my nursery! I was first given these products by my mother in law when I was pregnant with my first baby. I had never heard of Mustella. I did know that I didn't want to use the drugstore brands of baby lotions and baths because I despised the smell of baby powder scents. Never having used any baby wipes before I never had anything to compare them to, so I was pretty indifferent about them. I did think they smelled really good though. It wasn't until I bought some popular name brand wipes that I saw a difference. I coldn't believe how hard and scratch the "cheap"wipes were! This is what made me a devoted Mustella user. These wipes are the softest wipes you will ever use. They also have softenting agents that make wiping away messy bottoms so much easier than with other wipes. Try a pack and belive me, you won't be back. I also use them my my little ones need to "freshen" up. Wiping these across the cheeks and arms and legs makes your baby smell freshly bathed.

I have to admit, I am addicted to swaddling! It works! Swaddling your baby is so beneficial. It reminds them of being in the womb, it's very soothing and a godsend for parents! I asked for this blanket exclusively for my second baby. I started swaddling my first baby and tried to fold and wrap with those small cotton receiving blankets we all get. This doesn't work very well let me tell ya. The best thing about this blanket is the shape, the weight and the 'oh so important' directions right on the blanket tab. Having the directions right in front of you when you wrap is a great idea! It's lightweight enough to not be too hot for baby yet easy enough to get a good wrap. I have to say I swaddled my baby boy in the blanket until he was almost eight months old. My only complaint is that I wish I had more than one.
