The following are websites that offer great natural chldbirth resources. I have included a link to the website and also a brief synopsis of the information you will find there. I cannot stress enough how important being educated about your body and your birth is. Making an informed decision is your best resource.

Hypnobirthing
Hypnobirthing is a way for mom to deal with natural childbirth. It teaches her visualization and relaxation techniques. Hypnobirthing teaches you how to deal with pain and encourages the natural childbirth experience. Women who take on the hypnobirthing ideal are very happy with the outcome. It is a very empowering experience. Please read more about Hypnobirthing at Hypnobirthing.com
Birthing from Within
BIRTHING FROM WITHIN® classes offer a soulful and holistic approach to birth preparation that integrates both intuitive knowing, and a modern knowing of the choices available in our birth culture. Our unique classes go way beyond what typical childbirth classes offer: practical information is complemented by thought-provoking discussions and creative exercises.
You’ll learn and practice a variety of ways to cope with pain and cultivate the power of mindfulness, meditation, and self-hypnosis.
Fathers and birth partners discover the many ways they can experience and support birth. Our classes also explore the wise use
of drugs, epidurals, and cesareans–should they become necessary. You will learn how to give birth from within, no matter where or
how your baby is born. Learn more about holistic Gourmet Childbirth Classes that will knock your socks off!

Bradley Method
The Bradley Method© is a great method. This is the method that I used for my birth. These classes are based on the “father coached childbirth” idea. This form of childbirth education is based on the ideas and teachings of Robert A Bradley. This is a 12 week course taught by highly certified instructors. I highly recommend this Method.
Lamaze Method
The Lamaze Method of childbirth is based on controlling your pain with breathing techniques and imagery. It also prepares the new parent for baby care. This method does not take a hard stance on natural childbirth, but it does give information on medicated and non-medicated choices. As this is the most common class that new parents to through, this is somewhat controversial in the die hard natural childbirth fans. Some natural childbirth professionals state that you should breath as you feel your body needs and that forcing a pant or breathing that you are not naturally used to will not help you. I’ll leave this one up to you. You can make up your mind after reading some more information. As I always say, being educated is your best tool in managing your labor and what works best for you is the best way for you to go. Lamaze Childbirth.com

Hi, Try to watch this “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lk7ow0jtFhY”, maybe this will give you some ideas…

Thanks for those sites. I’ve not done much research into hypnobirthing, but it sounds really interesting. The Bradley Method is one that I’ve heard great things about. There’s so many choices out there these days. It’s sad that there aren’t more soon-to-be-mothers educating themselves.
There is a YouTube link for Brio as well if you haven’t seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lk7ow0jtFhY if you would like to see it. Brio is new, but the nearly 200 currently affiliated educators have hundreds of years of experience in the field between them.
I also suggest adding Brio Birth to your list. It is “childbirth education for the 21st century parents” that focuses on educating the couple so they can make informed decisions during their labor and birth (and after!). Just an all-around great organization!

Thanks Rebecca, did you use Brio birth and can share your experience? If so, contact me through my contact form! I’d love to hear from you!
The is a new childbirth group out that is just wonderful, it is called Brio Birth: http://www.briobirth.com/
Brio Birth is based upon the philosophies and teachings of Dr. Bradley, Dr. Odent, Dr. Lamaze, and Ina May Gaskin. This is a wonderful comprehensive class taught by independent childbirth educators who work for the client, not a medical group or hospital. Brio Birth emphasizes the important role of the birthing woman’s partner in labor whether it be her husband, life partner, relative or friend.
Thanks Dorene, I am reading about it now!
I am so happy. This group is full of really amazing educators.
